Threaded Designs started as a passion project — a love for machine embroidery and the small, careful details that make a stitched piece look genuinely handmade rather than mass-produced. What began as digitizing files for personal projects turned into digitizing for friends, then friends of friends, and eventually became a small home-based service.
Every file we produce is hand-digitized. That means we lay down the stitch paths ourselves, choose the right underlay type for the fabric, dial in the pull-compensation for the thread density, and test-stitch to confirm it runs cleanly before we send it. No push-button auto-conversion, no generic templates.
We support all major embroidery machine formats — PES (Brother, Baby Lock), DST (Tajima, Barudan), JEF (Janome), EXP (Melco), and VP3 (Husqvarna Viking). If you're not sure what format your machine uses, just ask when you email us.
